EVENING WALK is an 8x10 original oil painting of a landscape that reminded me of walks out near our hay field when I was a boy. The cool evening air just beginning to settle as the sun sets. It is painted on an acid free canvas panel. My paintings make wonderful gifts for the animal lover in your life. Original art is truly an original gift. I am a self-taught artist. I've been painting and sculpting for 30 years. I have always loved animals and have lived closely with them in rural Montana, so they are my favorite subject in my paintings. My style of painting is Impressionism. I try to push color as much as I can. I use thick strokes of paint to give the painting a rich texture. My paintings are all similar in style and subject so they look good together in small groups but strong enough on their own to offer an accent to any area. All my paintings have been varnished and are ready to be framed.
